Why the change?

 

Results from our beta testers has shown a marked increase in the quality of followers and reciprocal followers… all with Twitter's approval.  

 

We've been lucky enough to be able to work with Twitter in designing our new process for twollow customers.

Follow: With the new notification process we're creating an opportunity for fine grained follows.  We still do all the heavy lifting (searching & following) while human input makes the follows worth while.

 

Unfollow: this is a big one.  With the new work process we've made it possible for more timely and larger unfollows batches.  Being able to purge people not following you back as you like and in such quantities as you like really allows you to fine tune your followers numbers to active and authoritative tweeps.  

 

One thing we've discovered in the last year of operating twollow is that some people's new twitter accounts are stifled when they hit 2000 followings.  An important remedy for this is keeping an approximate ratio of 1/1 following/followers.  The new larger batch unfollow tools will help you achieve this should you need to push past this 2000 barrier.

I want use my Credit Card!

You can use your credit card on paypal -without- having to create a paypal account.  They don't make it easy, but upon starting the subscription process there's a link to do so. Look for "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available)."

Why Paypal? 

We use paypal for your protection.  As a third party You and Paypal are the only ones authorized to do anything.  Once your authorize Paypal to pay us for your subscription everything is in your hands, not ours!

How do I upgrade my account?

1) Subscribe to a new plan.

2) Going through the subscription process you'll end up at paypal.

3) Afterward, while still at paypal, cancel your current subscription payment. You'll find it under subscriptions.

What is Twollow?

We track which twitter users are using keywords you choose, which tweet they did it in, and give you a convenient way to follow them.  The benefits are: more targeted followers, market to people who are interested, or just more friends.

My keywords were paused.

If you haven't logged in to twollow for two months or we're having too many problems logging into twitter for your acct (password change?) we put your acct basically "on hold".  This protects the speed and reliability of the service for active users.  Be sure to login to twollow using your new password.  Then you can simply un-pause them.

What happens at the end of the 7 Day Free Trial accounts?

If the account isn't upgraded manually it is upgraded to the monthly bronze package.

It looks like I'm maxed out at 2000 people to follow.

This happens sometimes to random twitter accounts.  Our Unfollow Tool is your friend.  Use it to unfollow people who aren't following you back.  Once that following/follower ratio is closer to 1/1 you'll be able to go beyond 2000 followings.  It might take some patience, but it's the weapon of choice for power twitter users.

When are you in the office checking on things (support, upgrades, etc)

We live on 8am-4pm EST (New York) Mon-Fri.  We do check in on the weekends quite frequently to keep everything humming.

Will I get in trouble with Twitter using a service to follow interesting people?

No.  In fact we've been lucky enough to have worked with Twitter's API team to streamline our processes.

Sometimes I lose followers.

People tend to follow and unfollow, or block others all the time on their own.

Is it ok to spam twitter?

It certainly isn't ok to spam twitter.  This is why you can find interesting people by keywords... not randomly.
